The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8971 Eunice presented a plaque and a Blue Star Banner to the family of Christopher L. Fontenot who served in harm’s way with the U.S. Air Force. From left are VFW Post 8971 Gene J. Olivier, program chairman; Fontenot; and VFW Dist. 7 Commander Hillery Hill. Fontenot resides in Ville Platte and is employed with Quality Equipment Company (John Deere) in Eunice.
