UPDATE: The Zachary Police Department said that the publicizing of a female suspect's photo and crime spree has resulted in her arrest.

Zachary Police Chief David McDavid said Alberta Goodman, 19, of 4410 Greenwood Lane in Baker, turned herself in to the ZPD this week after reports of her using a stolen debit card surfaced in local media outlets.

Goodman is suspected of making fraudulent purchases at the Zachary Walmart and Walgreen's stores with a debit card stolen on or about May 17, McDavid said.

The person whose card was stolen had mistakenly left her wallet inside a shopping cart, where Goodman is accused of finding it, removing the victim's debit card and making the purchases, said McDavid.

Goodman has been charged with five counts of access device fraud and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
