If you are French-speaking and aged 13 - 18, if you want to improve your French, support French among young people and your friends or if you are a French-speaking college student or young adult and want to help a group of young people organize this association - Vous êtes invités - You are invited!

LeeAnn Law, of Zachary, invites you to Franco Jeunesse Louisiane on Saturday, June 23, from 1 - 5 p.m. for movies, music, food, fun and Français.

"I want to recruit and encourage anyone 13 - 18 years of age to join me in forming this important alliance for young people here in Louisiana," said Law, the Board Regent for East Baton Rouge Parish.

The event will be held at the Cité des Arts, located at 105 Vine St. in Lafayette. You and all your friends are welcome.

Franco Jeunesse Louisiane is a celebration for French-speaking youth in Louisiana.

Join a group from Zachary for this fun event and a chance to make history by creating the first official state-wide association (Venez nous rejoindre pour fêter et organiser cette nouvelle association) for French-speaking youth outside the class room - Franco-Jeunesse Louisiane.

Invite your friends! Venez nous rejoindre pour un film, pour la musique, pour le manger, pour un bon temps et pour se rassembler pour le Français.

In addition, there will be a group carpooling from the Baton Rouge area for all interested teens.
