Perron, Romero exchange vows at The Caldwell House in Abbeville

The Caldwell House in Abbeville served as the setting for the evening, outdoor candlelight ceremony uniting Elizabeth Marie Perron and Justin Charles Romero in Holy Matrimony.

The ceremony was held on March 10 at 6:30 p.m. with Justice of the Peace Daniel Patterson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kirk and Charlotte Perron of Eunice, and the groom is the son of Charles Romero and Tina Romero of Coteau.

Lector was Malory Brown and musical selections was provided by Aaron Lane.

Ushers were Michael Suire of Lafayette and Brandon Soileau of Eunice.

The bride, given away by her father, was stunning in an ivory strapless taffeta floor-length gown which featured an empire bodice accented with a champagne satin sash and a flower applique.

The bride carried a hand held bouquet of ivory roses.

Serving as maid of honor was McKenzie Begnaud of Eunice, friend of the bride.

Bridal attendants included Claire Mouton, Bridgette Mouton, both of Lafayette, cousins of the bride; Kim Gaspard of Eunice, friend of the bride; Tiffany Christ, Claire Duos, all of Lafayette, friends of the bride; junior bridesmaid was Anna Perron, sister of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore vintage style dresses in various shades.

Flower girls were Preslee Perron, niece of the bride, daughter of Jerome and Heather Perron; and Isabella Gaglano, godchild of the groom, daughter of Katie Romero.

Best man was Kyle Coburn of Eunice, friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Roddy Bergeron of Eunice, Kennan Guillory of Lafayette, friends of the groom; Sean Henson of Houston, friend of the groom; Jon and Jerome Perron of Eunice, brothers of the bride.

The groom wore a black tuxedo with a matching champagne vest and tie. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with matching black vests and white shirts.

A reception followed immediately after the ceremony

The couple took a honeymoon trip to Colorado and have made their home in Lafayette.

The bride is a graduate of St. Edmund High School and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. She is currently employed as the manager of Plato’s Closet in Lafayette.

The groom is a graduate of New Iberia Senior High and the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is employed at Dynamic Industries, Inc. as a sub-contract manager.
