Several Zachary High School Football players took to the Zachary community Saturday, Aug. 18, to raise money for their team.

Sophomore Lester Perkins, with Juniors Darrion Gros, Matthew Bowman and Chris Armwood, were seen in the Stage parking lot selling discount cards to Zachary patrons for their football team's fundraiser.

To help the Broncos with their efforts, contact any Bronco player to purchase a $20 card good for savings within the Zachary community.

The Broncos are also preparing for their start-of-season football jamboree scheduled for Friday, Aug. 24, at Denham Springs High School.

The Broncos will take on their neighbors, the Baker High Buffaloes at 5:30 p.m.

Following the Bronco vs. Buffalo math-up, East Feliciana will play Central and Denham Springs will play West Feliciana.

All games will be played in two 12-minute halves.

Denham Springs High is located at 1000 Range Avenue in Denham Springs.
