• The Baker Recreation Center will be closed due to storm clean-up. All other recreation centers will be open during regularly scheduled hours if electricity is restored.
• The Baton Rouge Gallery will be closed due to its regularly scheduled installation of a new exhibit.
• The Baton Rouge Zoo, Bluebonnet Swamp and Independence Park Theatre will be closed due to storm clean-up.
• Beaver Creek golf course will be open at noon. All other BREC golf courses will be closed due to storm clean-up.
• Highland Road tennis center will be open. All other BREC tennis centers will be closed due to storm clean-up.
The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge (BREC) closed all facilities on Thursday, Aug. 30, due to inclement weather from Isaac.
All five BREC tennis centers and all seven BREC golf courses - except Beaver Creek - will also be closed.
