Sunday is God's day. Parents and young people should be in church on that day.
Not being derogatory but when sports comes before God, there is a problem.
"Not a big sports fan?" you say. NO. I have played/competed in almost EVERY sport and went to State in softball. Gave it up when we tournaments started interfering with being in God's house.
NO ONE LOVES SPORTS & LSU MORE THAN ME, but God comes first, whether it be sports, concerts, tv programs, etc.
Parents, I urge you to think about this. If your child does or doesn't go "pro" and even if they do, where will they spend eternity?
"Raise up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it."
With all love and respect,
