Elizabeth Franklin McCutchen was born January 1, 1928, and left us on September 1, 2012, in Omaha, Nebraska.

She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Estelle Franklin; sisters Barbara Jean Franklin and Earline Hallum; brother Marvin Franklin; and her beloved son Jesse Leonard "Buddy" Burnett, III.

She is survived by her daughters Beth (Robert) McLeod of Valdosta, Ga; Jan (Bob) Foulk of Omaha; five grandchildren - Blake McLeod, Morgan Skogland, Christina Moore, Lindsay Compton and Jessica Foulk; five great-grandchildren - Lacy Ann McLeod, Mary Blake McLeod, Mary Beth Moore, Brooks Skogland and Barrett Skogland; sisters Maxine Lay and Chery Kirby; brother-in- law George Hallum; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Elizabeth was a faithful member of the Church of Christ.

Graveside service is at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, at Flower Hill Cemetery in Omaha. Memorials can be sent to Sunny Slope Church of Christ.
