Sunny Higgins Thibodeaux, a Family Nurse Practitioner, has joined the staff of Zachary Family Practice located at 2335 Church Street, Suite E, in Zachary.

Nurse Practitioners are advanced practice nurses who provide high-quality healthcare services similar to those of a physician in primary care and are able to diagnose and treat a wide range of health problems.

Thibodeaux received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond and her Master’s degree from Southern University in Baton Rouge.

She is board certified by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.

A native of Baton Rouge, she currently resides in Zachary with her husband, Brad, and their three daughters.

“I chose Family Medicine because I was interested in providing comprehensive primary care,” says Thibodeaux. “I am very excited about joining the health care team at Zachary Family Practice.”
