He will work in partnership with the economic development leaders in these parishes and business leaders throughout the region.
His duties will include prospect management, recruitment, project management, strategic development, and location consulting for new and expanding companies considering the region.

Collins spent over 20 years working in economic development, including working with business development teams and international development efforts for Louisiana Economic Development (LED).
He is a Baton Rouge native and holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University.
