As of Monday, Oct. 15, Zachary residents can now log on to the City of Zachary web site at www.cityofzachary.org to pay their utility bills with a debit or credit card.

On the home page of the web site, a link will take you to the appropriate area of the web site.

Residents choosing to pay their bills online will need to enter their name or account number to log in to the system.

Once a payment has been submitted, it will be posted to your account within 48 hours.

Residents who prefer to pay bills in person will still be able to use their credit or debit cards when they visit the City utility office at 4650 Main St., between the hours of 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

In addition, a computer has been set up at the utility office for those residents without a computer but who wish to still pay online.

"Recent upgrades to the city’s computer system and providing technological advances are enabling the city to become more efficient," said Mayor David Amrhein. "The convenience of E-Commerce services such as the online utility payment option will make our lives much easier."

For questions regarding your current balance or when your online payment will be applied, please call 654-6871.
