Johnson completed is formal education at Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge, where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture in 1976.
Johnson believes coherent family units must be in place for our communities to be prosperous, successful and safe. He endorses education as a primary component which will ensure a stable environment and promote productive law abiding citizens.
As Councilman, he will take a strong stance against crime, while other priorities include neighborhood improvements, public job training for adults, after school programs for youth and expanding senior programs.
Johnson maintains a viable engineering firm in Baton Rouge and welcomes communications regarding societal concerns.
Hillery Godfred Johnson is #61 on the ballot. He graciously solicits the support of the populace of Dist. 2 on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 6.
