NES tours downtown Zachary

As part of their community service unit at Northwestern Elementary, Kindergartners and first-graders took walking tours of the Zachary Fire and Police Deparments, as well as Cajun Catch, Chris' Meats and Just Pets last Thursday, Oct. 11. The tours are an annual event for NES.

Zachary Police Detective Enoch Sims greeted the Kindergartners from Northwestern Elementary School during their tour of the police department.

Kids received a badge sticker and toured the ZPD's communications room and detectives' unit.

Secretary to the Chief Brandy Hannum and Capt. Randy Aulds also assisted Sims with the tour.

Capt. Chris Young and Firefighter Johnathan Knight gave the tour of the ZFD.
