Directed by Carol Smitherman Anglin of Shreveport, the dancers performed three jazz routines to a crowd of 40,000.
Along with LSMSA, groups represented include dancers from the Carol Anglin Dancenter and Evangel Christian Academy’s Wings.
Local dancer Abby Nealy, a junior from Zachary, was included among the group of dancers, as was Senior Savannah Neill of Baton Rouge.
In all, 20 communities and 10 parishes were represented during the event which was televised on ESPN-U.
Anglin teaches dance classes at LSMSA, in addition to owning her own Shreveport dance studio.
