The Father and Son Breakfast and basketball tournament is an opportunity for fathers and sons of various ages to spend time together building relationships, exchanging ideas and developing a course of positive actions for each other.
The event is scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, and will be held at the Martin Luther King J. Community Center located at 4000 Gus Young Blvd.
Following the breakfast, the fathers and youth will engage in a friendly game of basketball to continue their bonding experience.
The event is designed for young men between the ages of 12 and 18.
If you would like to participate or know of a father, grandfather or father-figure who would like bring a young man to participate in this event, please contact the office of 100 Black Men of Metro Baton Rouge.
There is a $10 fee for the event which covers both the father and the son participants.
