The City of Zachary celebrates this special day with a ceremony that will raise 10 flags which have flown over the city the past 515 years.
The event will be sponsored by the Zachary Historic District and the Zachary Historical Association and salutes Veterans past and present.
Guest speakers include Tom Burbank of The Louisiana of Under Secretary Veterans Affairs and Rex A. Kern, Director of Port Hudson/Natchez National Cemetery Complex.
This celebration is for the Veterans and the community.
