Alyssa Gibson, 20, of Rayne, was driving north on US 167 about 10 p.m. when she traveled off the right side of the road, struck a ditch embankment, then a tree.
State Police say she not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car.
The crash remains under investigation.
