The Zachary Police Explorers Cadet program received a check on Nov. 19 in the amount of $1,500 for the work they did parking cars at the Baton Rouge State Fair recently.

The check was presented by Gerald Hall, a State Fair board member, to Zachary Cadets Mason McDaniel, Taylor Bice and Carson Gunter and with Zachary Police Chief David McDavid.

The Zachary Police Explorers Cadet Program is currently accepting applications for Explorer Post positions.

Law Enforcement Career Exploring is open to young men and women ages 14 and not yet 19, who have an interest in learning more about careers in the field of Law Enforcement.
