The Bank of Zachary has promoted two of its banking officers, President Preston L. Kennedy announced last week. Melinda M. White has been promoted to Senior Vice President, and Mark S. Marionneaux has been promoted to Vice President.

White joined the Bank of Zachary in March 1981. She manages the Loan Support department and has primary responsibility for Loan Compliance.

White is a Zachary High graduate who earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Louisiana Tech.

A native and life-long resident of Zachary, she is married to Lotus M. “Mack” White and has three children and six grandchildren.

Marionneaux has been with the Bank of Zachary since February 2011. His prior experience included mortgage and agriculture lending, and before joining Bank of Zachary, he was an Assistant Vice President with Landmark Bank.

A native of Winnsboro, Marionneaux earned his degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2001, majoring in Agricultural Business. He is a 2010 graduate from the Louisiana State University Graduate School of Banking.

A resident of Zachary since 2004, Marionneaux is married to his wife, Alicia, and they have three children.

Founded in 1904, the Bank of Zachary is the oldest state-chartered bank in East Baton Rouge Parish. It is locally owned and operated with all decisions made locally. Hometown banking is Bank of Zachary’s mission and its specialty.
