This Spring hundreds of football players and thousands of fans swarmed stadiums in Georgia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky and Louisiana for the Gridiron Games - full contact, full pad alumni football put on by Gridiron Alumni.

This year, Gridiron Alumni is targeting some of the biggest rivalries in the nation for it's Gridiron Alumni Rivalry Series.

Alumni football could be coming to Zachary.

Gridiron Alumni is planning several full-contact alumni football games as it travels the nation pitting old football rivals against each other one more time, and players are needed to sign up. The first 40 players on each team get to play. The team that gets 30 people registered first, gets home field advantage.

This Spring, hundreds of players and thousands of fans swarmed stadiums to watch their hometown heroes strap it on one more time. Gridiron Alumni is targeting more of the biggest rivalries in the nation for it's Gridiron Alumni Rivalry Series.

Teams from Zachary, Baker, Scotlandville Magnet, as well as other area teams are forming now.

Gridiron Alumni was founded in 2010 and has raised over $150,000 for schools and charities using alumni football games as a fundraising vehicle.
