The luncheons are a great new way for investors and the Baton Rouge area business community to stay informed about the work of the organization, meet fellow investors and learn about relevant topics including economic development, business strategy, technology, and innovation.
The event will be held on the first Tuesday of each month (unless noted). The luncheons are sponsored by Humana and Latter & Blum and will be held at Kean Miller, located at II City Plaza, seventh floor, downtown Baton Rouge.
Event details can be found at www.brac.org/events.
“The monthly luncheon is a great opportunity for current investors to get more involved with the organization and a great way for non-investors to learn about the work of the organization,” said Adam Knapp, President and CEO of BRAC. “The topics and speakers secured are a great source of information and new ideas relevant to all business leaders.”
The first luncheon will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 8. The topic will be innovation and the speaker is Caroline Wood with Louisiana Connections Academy who will discuss how online learning can change the face of public education.
Registration is now open for this event at www.brac.org/events.
