Members of Zachary High School's Marching Band rehearsed last week in Bronco Stadium for their trip to the Outback Bowl played in Tampa, Fla., on New Year's Day.

While in Tampa, the band performed in one large massive band in the halftime show during the Outback Bowl, which featured South Carolina and Michigan's college football teams.

The ZHS Jazz, Concert and Marching Bands also participated in group competitions with other high school bands from around the country.

In addition, the band marched in the New Year's Eve Outback Bowl Parade.

The ZHS marching band is led by Director Jason Venable.

South Carolina defeated Michigan 33-28 in the 2013 Outback Bowl, and

the band did a fantastic job representing ZHS and the Zachary community while in Tampa.
