The couple plan to marry March 23, 2013, in a 5 p.m. ceremony at Live Oak Plantation in St. Francisville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Kim and Warren Cavalier Jr. of Zachary.
She is the granddaughter of Vergie and Harold Booty of Zachary and Lettie and Warren Sr. Cavalier of Pierre Part.
Lacy is a graduate of Central Private School in Baker and of Baton Rouge Community College's Nursing School in Baton Rouge.
She is employed as a registered nurse in the mother/baby department at Woman's Hospital.
The groom-to-be is the son of Chloe' and Joe Modica of Covington.
He is the grandson of Rose and A.J. Modica of Covington and Margaret and Richard Mouton of Abbeville.
He is the great-grandson of Rita Mouton of Abbeville.
Jared is a graduate of Covington High School.
He is employed as a technician for St. Tammany Parish.
