Bronco Boys are undefeated District 5-5A Champions

Congratulations, to both the Boys and Girls Soccer teams at Zachary High School! Both Bronco teams just clinched the District Championship titles for 5-5A!

Bronco fans are invited to come out to Bronco Stadium tonight to cheer on the undefeated Boys Bronco Soccer team as they take on Woodlawn at 6 p.m.

Fresh off wins over Live Oak on Jan. 23 and Denham Springs on Jan. 25, the recently declared District 5-5A Champions will face Woodlawn HS tonight, Monday, Jan 28, in Bronco Stadium.

It's also Senior Night.

The six Bronco Senior players will take to the field for one of the last times during their regular season and will be recognized in a ceremony at halftime.

Game starts at 6 p.m.

Come out and help cheer on the undefeated ZHS Bronco District Champions!

Bronco Seniors to be honored tonight include: Jonathan Davis, Jacob Garrett, Durrell Joseph, Ikenna Nzewi, Boston Scott, Korbin Weidenbacher and Derek Wooden.

The Broncos secured a 3-1 win over Live Oak on Jan. 23. Thomas McHugh led the Broncos with two goals, and Jonathan Davis scored the third. The varsity team also defeated Denham Springs on Friday, Jan. 25.

The JV team also beat Live Oak’s JV team, 4-1. Two goals were scored by Kyle Durbin, one by Ransom Parker and

another by Toby Nzewi.
