The Nicholls Camerata, a string ensemble composed of gifted students of the string program at Nicholls State University, is led by violinist James Alexander. Members of the Camerata have performed in major music festivals and received prizes both here in the US and abroad.
A Pelican Chamber Music Concert will be held Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Poydras Center at 3 p.m. followed by a reception with the musicians.
Admission free.
