Watson is in Ms. Bond's class, and his family is new to the Zachary area.
Watson spent an entire day in January at the Zachary Fire Department with Chief Danny Kimble and was given an official Fire Chief shirt to wear. He also participated in the daily routine of firefighters by inspecting fire trucks and checking equipment.
He even got to ride in a big firetruck!
Firefighters on duty that day became friends with Watson and enjoyed watching him eagerly learn about all that goes into running a fire department.
Watson was also presented with a Fire Chief certificate, hat and ID badge and got to keep a customized Fire Chief shirt.
