As the garden show season begins across south Louisiana, questions about insect and disease damage on plants will continue to increase.

To have those questions answered, “Plant Doctor” Nick Singh from the LSU AgCenter Plant Diagnostic Center will be attending several shows to give some answers.

“I will have the free plant health clinic at garden shows in Baton Rouge on March 9, Covington on March 15, Lake Charles on March 22 and New Orleans April 6 and 7,” he said.

Attendees of these shows can bring their sick plants, photos of sick plants or questions about sick plants.

Recently Singh has been answering more questions about some of the seasonal diseases of strawberries, ornamentals, leafy vegetables and turfgrass.
