The Zachary High School Softball team will team up against the Morgan City Tigers on Saturday, March 23, at Zachary Youth Park in a game about something much more important than league standings.

At 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., the ZHS Varsity team will be raising awareness for breast cancer as they battle it out in their first-annual “Pink Game”.

Admission is FREE but donations will be accepted and will benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The Foundation is dedicated to education and research about causes, treatment, and the search for a cure for Breast Cancer; turning cancer patients into cancer survivors.

The Lady Broncos will be wearing a special pink t-shirt to show their support for breast cancer awareness, and all fans are encouraged to wear pink to help ZHS strike out breast cancer.

If you don't have something pink to wear, commemorative pink t-shirts will be sold at the game for Zachary and Morgan City fans; all proceeds benefit the foundation.

Come out and support the ZHS Lady Bronco Softball team as they raise money and awareness in the fight against Breast Cancer.
