ZFest has plenty to offer today, tonight and all day Sunday, March 24, with activities for all art and music lovers, as well as activities and events for kids, adults and pets! Admission is FREE!
Artisans are set up all over the park displaying and selling their work, and are selling jewelry, purses, clothes, decorative items, candles, posters, sunglasses and much, much more! It's a feast for the senses.
Various genres of music are taking the main stage at BREC’s Zachary Community Park, 20055 Old Scenic Hwy. (La. 964), and plenty of food and fun awaits you!
The Zachary Arts & Music Festival is hosted by the Zachary Chamber of Commerce. Presenting sponsors include the Zachary Chamber, BREC and Abita Brewery and volunteers have given much of their time and effort towards this annual festival.
Musical acts scheduled to hit the stage still include Randy Houser, Not 4 Sale, Boot Hill, as well as local talent all day and night!
Midway Carnival has tons of rides and games, as well as BREC's Children's and Kiddie Villages with inflatables and games.
ZFest began Thursday, March 21.
On Friday, March 22, opening ceremonies and remarks from Zachary Mayor David Amrhein and Economic Development Director Kate MacArthur kicked off the weekend’s events followed by LeBlanc’s Wine & Abita's Beer kick-off party under the tent near the main stage.
ZHS Color Guard presented the colors while local star Megan Miller sang the National Anthem.
Be sure to check out Gabe and LSU pre-Vet students at Barnhill Preserve, which has a booth on site with baby kangaroos, kinkajous, ferrets, parrots, reptiles and more for kids and adults to enjoy!
Also, be sure to check out chainsaw artist Burt Flemming who has a an area under the trees where he will be creating his unbelievable artwork while you watch! Do not miss this artist in action.
SATURDAY at ZFest
On Saturday, March 23, ZFest begins at 10 a.m., ends at 11:30 p.m. and includes a full day of music, local performances, dancing, food, games, rides, arts/crafts and much, much more!
Boot Hill, a modern high-energy band from New Orleans, commands the main stage from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Country musician Randy Houser follows at 9 p.m. on the main stage.
SUNDAY at ZFest
On Sunday, March 24, the carnival opens at noon, and at 3 p.m. FAWS (Feliciana Animal Welfare Society) presents a Running With the Dogs 5K, and you and your pup are invited to participate.

Winners from the Miss Zachary Pageant will also be featured, as well as live music by Not 4 Sale beginning at 4 p.m.
