Class time is from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by a written test.
The lecture part of the class will be held at the West Feliciana Administration & Training Building (by the Fire Department) at 9892 West Feliciana Parkway in St. Francisville.
To complete the certification, students will then shoot on March 24 from 2 to 4 p.m.
It is NOT too late to for hunters to sign up to take this class!
Remember, it is a Louisiana state law that all hunters born on or after September 1, 1969, including out-of-state
hunters, must successfully complete the course in order to hunt
in Louisiana alone.
Hunters who have not earned this certification or who are under the age of 16, must have a person 18 or older who HAS successfully completed the course with them at all times.
Contact André Brock at the West Feliciana Ag Center Office at (225) 635-3614 to participate in this weekend's class.
Participants must also register through the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries website at www.wlf.louisiana.gov.
