On Thursday, March 31, several volunteers from the Parent-Teacher Organization at Zachary Early Learning Center teamed up with Papa John’s for a new kind of fundraiser. Students from the school were asked to call in a delivery order from 5 – 7:30 p.m. Thursday, and ZELC volunteers delivered. Papa John’s donated 20 percent of all the delivery orders placed as well as 100 percent of the tips given. ZELC Assistant Principal Angela Cassard said the school raised $1,000 with around 90 of the school’s students participating in the fundraiser.
