Domestic Violence Awareness forum set for Oct. 22

During October's National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and as a show of support to all domestic violence victims, Women Working with Women invites everyone to join them at BREC Independence Park, 7500 Independence Blvd., Meeting Room 111, in Baton Rouge, for a domestic violence forum.

The forum will be held Monday, Oct. 22.

The forum's theme 'Love Shouldn't Hurt' will be featured throughout with a Prayer Vigil beginning at 5:45 p.m., followed by the forum, 6-8 p.m.

Guest Speakers include Major Reginald R. Brown Sr., City Constable; Judge Charlene Charlet Day, Family Court Judge; and Judge Pamela Taylor Johnson, Juvenile Court.
