Players from the Baker High Buffalos, the Northeast Vikings and the 3A semi-finalists, West Feliciana Saints, were recently named to the 2010 All-District 7-3A team.

Several players from each school were named to the first and second team units for their outstanding play on the field last season.

Players named to the first team offense were offensive lineman Reggie Webb, Baker; offensive lineman Gerrald Russell, West Feliciana; wide receiver Patrick Rivers, Northeast; wide receiver David Haile, West Feliciana; quarterback Deshawn Morrison, West Feliciana; running back Roberto Johnson, West Feliciana; and RET Brenton Tolliver, Baker.

Players named to the first team defense 7-3A were defensive lineman Patrick Rivers, Northeast; defensive lineman Johnny Lindsey, West Feliciana; linebacker Brandon McGee, Baker; and defensive back Byron Cobb, West Feliciana.

Many other players were also named to the second team units for district 7-3A.

Northeast players recognized were offensive lineman James Fisher; wide receiver Aaron Magee; quarterback Jarvis Houston; and linebacker Jordan Hatch.  

West Feliciana had a handful of players named to the second team units as well. Those players included offensive lineman Brandon Brooks, running back Dalvin White, defensive lineman Matt Ackman, linebacker Bill Dennis and defensive back David Haile.

Baker running back Kensley Septs was named to the second team 7-3A offense.
