Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre to hold open casting call for male performers

Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre is seeking male performers, high school aged and older, to dance in Act III of The Sleeping Beauty as a part of the Spring Concert on Thursday, March 14.

No dance experience is necessary, and participants will not be required to wear tights. Rehearsals will be held on Sunday afternoons from Feb. 3 until the performance in March.

Act III of The Sleeping Beauty will be part of BRBT’s Spring Concert, which will also feature three contemporary works. Spring Concert is Thursday, March 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the River Center Theatre for the Performing Arts.

BRBT’s programs are supported in part by funds from the Louisiana State Arts Council and the Louisiana Division of the Arts and by the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge through the Decentralized Arts Funding Program.
