The Bronco Backers have recently funded the purchase of the Hivamat, an electrostatic treatment machine, for the sports medicine program for Zachary High athletes. The Hivamat is a deep oscillation therapy unit used for athletic injuries. It reduces swelling and pain and increases range of motion. From muscle spasms to deep thigh contusions to post-surgical scar reduction, the Hivamat will change the way acute and chronic problems are treated.

“The Hivamat has already been a great asset to Zachary athletes. We’re looking forward to it benefiting all sports throughout the year by getting our athletes back in the game safely and timely,” said Sean Stanton, Certified Athletic Trainer at ZHS.

Last year, the Bronco Backers implemented charitable gaming (bingo) which afforded the opportunity to make this contribution to the Athletic Program. “We couldn’t have done it without our Bingo volunteers, and the help of James Jarreau of Baker Bingo. We would also like to extend a very special ‘thank you’ to Randy Olson and Lane Regional Medical Center who generously donated $500 directly towards this purchase,” said Jim Steele, President of Bronco Backers.
