Petite team members include Gabreyela Gonzalez, Jace Smith and Zoë Vicari. Mini team members are Sydney Robertson, Adison Salcedo and Jada Smith.

Under the direction of Becky Coxe and Shelly Lee, the team members completed 15-hours of dance-intensive training to prepare for the upcoming competition season.

All of these talented dancers will be competing for national titles in some of the nation’s top dance competitions.

The Children’s Moving Company has won numerous regional and national titles over the last 30 years.

In addition to competitive performances, the dancers participate in the Zachary Christmas parade, ZFest, LAPHERD’s Kaleidoscope and several Mardi Gras parades. In 2011, the studio was awarded 'Best Marching Group' in the Zachary Christmas parade.

Their dance instructors and families would like to wish them good luck this year and best wishes on their road to nationals.

Gymnastics teacher Lisa Easterly was welcomed to the staff this year. Formally with Peggy’s Dance Studio, Easterly now teaches gymnastic and tumbling classes on Saturday mornings and private classes on Sunday.

Anyone interested in having the dancers perform at your event, please call the Zachary Center for Performing arts at 654-9510.
