Assistant Vice President Cindy Chaisson has retired from the Bank of Zachary after 32 years of service. Her retirement was effective June 15. She was feted with a catered retirement reception at the Main Office May 25.

Chaisson began her career with the Bank of Zachary in 1980 in the note department. She worked as an assistant in the collection department, and was made an officer of the bank in 1999. She became Teller Supervisor and head of the Collection Department in 2002.

She and her husband Bruce are the parents of three children: Julie Smith and her husband Steve, of Allen, Texas; Stacy Pickett and her husband Blake, of Zachary; and the late B. J. Chaisson of Zachary. They have four grandchildren.

Immediate plans for Cindy and Bruce call for travel and relaxation.

The officers, employees and directors of Bank of Zachary would like to thank Chaisson for her many years of meritorious service and wish her much happiness in retirement.

Founded in 1904, the Bank of Zachary is the oldest State chartered bank in East Baton Rouge Parish. It is locally owned and operated with all decisions made locally.

Hometown banking is Bank of Zachary’s mission and its specialty.
