COLFAX – Services for former newspaper cartoonist and historian Pap Dean will be held at a later date. He died Aug. 15 at age 95.
Dean was a retired cartoonist for the Shreveport times and a member of the Louisiana Political Hall of Fame in Winnfield. He was the illustrator of a number of books.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter.
