LAFAYETTE--The digital media and gaming industry suffered a great and terrible loss on Tuesday morning with the sudden passing of Dr. Christopher Erhardt.

Dr. Erhardt was the Head of Schools for the Academy of Interactive Entertainment’s (AIE) United States Campuses in Seattle and Lafayette.

Dr. Erhardt was a spirited and enthusiastic advocate for the digital media community. He spearheaded the effort to create an Academy of Interactive Entertainment campus in Lafayette at the Louisiana Immersive Technologies Enterprise (LITE) building.

Funeral arrangements are as follows:

The Academy of Interactive Entertainment will continue to honor Dr. Erhardt’s legacy by providing the best education for present and future students in both Lafayette and Seattle.
