Samantha Martin is a local talent agent with years of experience in casting, producing and talent representation in cities such as New York, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Attendees will be given the guidance and tools necessary to jumpstart their film and television careers. This is an educational seminar for local talent only!

Our 'Actor's Bootcamp' is an introductory course for anyone interested in getting involved in and/or getting work in the film and television industry. No prior experience is required. Meet with Samantha as she shares her experience and discusses the do's and don'ts of the business.

Topics of discussion include headshot and resume development, finding and securing representation, self promotion and branding, as well as industry standards in contracts and negotiations to protect you from scams. In addition to preparing the actor for the business of acting, included will be an in depth discussion on preparing for the audition process.

Lecture to be followed by a Q&A session to give you the opportunity to put forth any questions you have about the business. Actors will also be given the opportunity to perform a 2-3 minute monologue or scene and receive one on one feedback from Samantha.
