Heritage Ranch Christian Children’s Home will host an Open House, a series of Easter egg hunts and other activities Sunday, April 1 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at the Heritage Ranch property.

Zachary community members are invited to tour the 52-acre property and get to know the Executive Director, Vicki Ellis. Community members are also encouraged to bring their children to enjoy the Easter EGGstravaganza festivities.

Easter EGGstravaganza will also include free food, games, face painting, egg dying, prizes and the Easter EGGstravaganza Easter Bunny.

“We are very excited to host an Easter Egg Hunt for the community. We look forward to having a great time with the children and their families and showing them around the Heritage Ranch property,” stated Vicki Ellis, Heritage Ranch Executive Director.

Founded in December 2003, Heritage Ranch is in the process of opening a Christian Children’s Home to provide family-style housing, counseling and comprehensive case management to boys ages 13-17 in Greater Baton Rouge. Heritage Ranch will serve as an early intervention place for families in crisis with the goal of reunification.
