Members of the Kiwanis Club of Zachary held a Fall fundraising event - a pastalaya dinner sale - on Friday, Sept. 14.

The Pastalaya sale was held in the Walmart parking lot and at the Zachary Fire Department from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Proceeds from the sale of the dinners will benefit Zachary Kiwanis Club projects and a portion will go to assisting UNICEF in fighting Maternal and Neonatal Tetanus (MNT).

Kiwanians who worked sold plates from the ZFD included Boyce Smith Jr., Stella Ashford, Kiwanis President, Bruce Langley, Katherine Lemelle and Debbie Mashaw.

Kiwanis International is a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

Zachary Kiwanians meet every Wednesday at 7 a.m. in the meeting room at the ZFD located at 4525 Main St.
