A resident of Clinton, Lea is responsible for ensuring nursing care is up to date with current standards of practice, including research and working with nursing staff, physicians and Shared Governance teams.
Lea has more than 20 years of health care experience. Prior to this position she was an Intensive Care staff nurse and a relief House Supervisor.
Lea is currently a member of the Coordinating Council, Chest Pain Accreditation Committee, Intensive Care Unit Committee and Pathway to Excellence Committee, and she also served on several Evidence Based Practice Committees.
Lea is a former Lane Employee of the Month and was recently nominated for Clinical Practice Nurse of the Year. She also volunteers her time to conduct AED and CPR community trainings.
