Steen has been with Bank of Zachary since 1979. A native of McComb, Miss., she spent her formative years in New Orleans. Laura and her husband Will have been residents of Zachary for 36 years. They have a daughter, Rachel, and three granddaughters.
Steen is a past president of the Zachary Chamber of Commerce, and she was inducted into the Chamber’s Hall of Distinction in 2009. She has volunteered for numerous community projects, and is a founding member of FAZE - the Foundation Assisting Zachary Education.
Founded in 1904, the Bank of Zachary is the oldest State chartered bank in East Baton Rouge Parish. It is locally owned and operated with all decisions made locally.
