State Police identified the driver as Loraine M. Paul.
Police responded to the crash about 7 p.m. on La. Highway 1 at Highway 1195 north of Marksville. Paul lost control and drove off the right side of the road. The vehicle flipped and hit a utility pole.
She was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected, police said.
