Hannah Louise Migues of Shreveport and Thomas Jefferson “T.J.” Jackson of Grangeville are pleased to announce they were married on Saturday, June 2, 2012.

The couple wed in a 6:45 p.m. ceremony at the Inn at Crystal Beach in Destin, Fla.

The bride’s parents are the proud Susan and Barton Migues of Shreveport.

Hannah is the granddaughter of Ray and Barbara Bown of Birmingham, United Kingdom, Ruby Frith Migues of New Iberia and the late Joseph Silvio Migues.

She is a graduate of Captain Shreve High School and of Southeastern Louisiana University.

The bride is employed as an elementary school teacher at Juban Parc Elementary in Denham Springs.

The groom’s parents are the proud Christy and Thomas Jackson Sr. of Ethel.

Thomas is the grandson of the late John Wesley McElwee of Grangeville, John and Theresa Brinkley of North Carolina and the late Eddie and Beatrice Jackson of Grangeville.

He is a graduate of Silliman Institute and of Southeastern Louisiana University.

The groom has a degree in marketing and is the co-owner of Xtreme Bedliners in Hammond.

The bride was attended by her Maid of Honor, Sarah Howard, and bridesmaid, Kate Jordan.

The groom’s Best Man was William Peay and groomsman was Trevor Arnold.

Ring bearer was Nathan Thomas, and the flower girl was Sarah Lambert.

Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at 970 On The Gulf in Sanibel, Fla.

The newlyweds enjoyed a honeymoon trip in the Dominican Republic and now make their home in Ponchatoula.
