The Baker Heritage Museum, 1606 Main St., will hold an activity for children from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Oct. 27, Museum Director Jean Byers announced.

Home-grown pumpkins will be provided in various sizes along with brushes and non-toxic paints.

Children will paint their pumpkins and take them home to decorate their houses or to make a pumpkin pie.

Area vendors are invited to participate in this Main Street Market and reserve a place to sell garden produce, hobby and handy crafts, holiday items and decorations. Vendors are responsible for set up and removal of furnishings and any leftovers after the noon closing.

Call (225) 774-1776 or (225) 933-3261 to reserve your pumpkin or get more information.
