For the second year in a row, Temple Fork Outfitters has added a bonus prize to the STAR tournament. Any CCA Louisiana STAR-registered angler weighing in an eligible speckled trout at an official weigh station, and taken in accordance with the rules of the CCA Louisiana STAR Fly Fish and Kayak Divisions, had their name placed in the "TFO Bonus Drawing".
TFO is giving away one TFO fly rod valued at $250 and four TFO/Gary Loomis’s Saltwater Signature Series baitcasters, which are valued at $100 a piece.
Any qualified entrant was eligible for the TFO drawing, with the exception of the winners of those divisions.
The winners of the TFO rods are: John Holder of Youngsville, Kayak West Division; Luke Beslin of Rayne, Kayak Southwest Division; Sonya Hebert of Baton Rouge, Kayak Southeast Division; and Perry Watts of Terrytown, Kayak East Division.
The Flyfish Division TFO winner is Ben Roussel of Baton Rouge.
Congratulations to all of our winners. The STAR Awards Banquet will be Thursday, Oct. 25, at Live Oak Arabians in Baton Rouge.
