The district is celebrating its number one school performance ranking in Louisiana for the eighth consecutive year with free food, giveaways and a school spirit contest.
The Zachary community is invited to come out and enjoy performances by the Northwestern Middle and Zachary High School bands and spirit groups.
In addition, the City of Zachary is sponsoring a fireworks display.
Gates open at 6 p.m. with the program set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
