Congratulations, to Zachary High Runningback Boston Scott for winning the WBRZ Fans' Choice Award in for Week 5 of the contest.

Fans' Choice Awards are given to south Louisiana high school football athletes, which fans nominate and vote for online at WBRZ.com.

Scott was up against his Bronco teammate, Quarterback Trey Hills, and Parkview Baptist Quarterback Brennan Bozeman.

The senior player can run, kick, punt and juke but is as talented off the field. He does well academically, as a musician and in drama, said Bronco Head Coach Neil Weiner.

The Fans' Choice winner receives bragging rights as the Fans’ Choice player of the week on WBRZ.

All decisions of the judges are final, and odds of winning depend on the number of eligible nominees and votes received.

Every Monday, fans can nominate their favorite player from 6 p.m. until noon on Tuesday.

Every Tuesday, voting for the top three nominees begins at 6 p.m. and will run until noon on Wednesday.

On Wednesday evenings, the winner will be announced during the sports segments of WBRZ News 2 at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
